Your Gift, Their Future: Join Us in Transforming Child Health

As 2024 draws to a close, join us in creating a lasting impact for generations to come by donating to the Kansas Pediatric Foundation (KPF) year-end appeal.

Your donations fuel remarkable initiatives like Turn a Page. Touch a Mind^©early childhood literacy program, Pediatrician in Action awards, and continuing medical education. As a result of your donations in 2023, we added 15 new sites to the TAP-TAM program and now have more than 175 locations. The 850 participating medical providers distributed more than 184,000 books to children ages 0 to 5 years. In 2025, we are on track to reach an incredible milestone of 2 million books distributed since the program began in 2009.

The Pediatricians in Action awards enable Kansas pediatricians to tackle key community needs, such as home safety, mental health barriers, breastfeeding support, and access to menstrual products. Last year’ donations helped us double the number of awards.  

We have begun our 2024 Year-End Appeal and ask you to support our efforts to change lives and strengthen families across our state. Here are how some of your contributions can make a difference.

• A donation of $5,000 funds one Pediatrician in Action Award to address a critical community need.
• A gift of $1,250 supports continuing education credits for one KAAP’s webinar.
• $600 pays for four pediatric residents or medical students to attend a KAAP Progress in Pediatrics conference. 
• With $100, three children will receive a book at every one of their well-child visits from birth to age five.
