Join the 2025 Childhood Immunization Quality Improvement Project

Enrollment is now open for our Increasing Childhood Immunizations quality improvement (QI) project beginning January 13, 2025, and running through June 2025.

This FREE initiative is an excellent opportunity for Kansas pediatricians to enhance childhood immunization rates in their practices while earning valuable professional credits and a stipend.

Why Join?

Participating pediatricians will receive 25 MOC Part 4 Points from the American Board of Pediatrics, 4.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, and a $1,000 stipend upon project completion.

Focus Areas

Participants will choose at least one of the following measures to target:

  • Increasing the percentage of children receiving all Bright Futures-recommended vaccines by their 3rd birthday.
  • Improving the percentage of adolescents receiving all Bright Futures-recommended vaccines by their 13th birthday.
  • Enhancing first-dose rotavirus vaccine administration for eligible NICU babies before discharge.

What to Expect

Over the six-month project, participants will pull vaccine data reports bi-monthly; attend four interactive virtual training; and implement evidence-based process improvements to boost immunization rates. This project builds on the highly successful project completed in 2023, where 23 KAAP members achieved measurable increases in immunization rates across all target areas.
