The training is free, and your travel and room at Hotel Old Town will be covered for those more than 30 miles outside of Wichita. This is a great opportunity to meet with fellow CARE Providers from across the state to learn best practices regarding these difficult cases.

CARE providers are trained to provide a comprehensive child abuse exam. Led by Board-certified Child Abuse Pediatricians, this one-day training will build upon the skills learned in the two-day CARE provider training. This session is open to any physician, physician assistant or nurse practitioner in the state of Kansas who has already completed a two-day CARE Provider training.
