KAAP and KSKidsMAP Wellness Retreat

The Kansas AAP, in partnership with KSKidsMAP, is hosting a wellness retreat directly following the conclusion of the 2025 Spring PIP event to support the well-being of pediatricians and other pediatric providers.

Kathy Stepien, MD, FAAP, pediatrician and founder of The Institute for Physician Wellness, will lead participant engagement in interactive discussions and activities to enhance their emotional and physical health. The retreat will provide practical guidance and strategies to optimize pediatricians’ daily work environments.

The retreat will be held at the Hotel Topeka at City Center and begin immediately following the Kansas AAP Spring Progress in Pediatrics event on April 4. The retreat concludes at 1 pm on Saturday, April 5.

The retreat is free for KAAP members and KSKidsMAP members. Attendees will need to register in advance and will be responsible for booking their own overnight stay.
