In collaboration with Board-certified Child Abuse Pediatricians in Kansas, Child Abuse Review and Evaluation (CARE) Providers are specially trained to recognize abusive injuries and provide a medical evaluation for children under five years of age when abuse is suspected. This two-day training is available to any physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant practicing in the state of Kansas.
