A Note of Thanks and Farewell

After 2.5 rewarding years with the KAAP, I will retire in early January 2026. It has been an honor to work with Kansas pediatricians and trainees, board members, the KAAP team, and partners who care so deeply about children and families. Together, we have given children a strong voice, helped families get the care they need, and supported pediatricians across the state. I am proud of what we have built and the difference this work makes every day.

I am deeply thankful to the KAAP Board for its guidance, to our team for their dedication, and to the many partners and supporters who make this work possible. KAAP’s strength comes from people who show up, work together, and keep children at the center of every decision. As I step into retirement, I do so with confidence in KAAP’s future and appreciation for the leadership and team who will carry this work forward.

Thank you for the trust, the support, and the many relationships that have meant so much to me. It has been a privilege to serve Kansas children and those who care for them.
